Oh, the sadness...

I regret to inform you that Glorianna has been ripped.

I was tinking back and something weird happened. As I attempted to figure out the weirdness, a runaway stitch jumped off the needle and went flying down the pattern. I very nearly cried. I may have said a naughty word. (I’m pretty sure I did.) It was PERFECT up to that point. And BEAUTIFUL. Alas, I must start again. It’s about time to put that lifeline in, dontcha think? I thought I could at least finish ONE REPEAT before it was lifeline time… ::sigh::

Also, sadly, there has been a hiccup in the whole buying a condo business. Shouldn’t come as a surprise and we’ll still be out of The Apartment Complex Owned by Idiots (they cut down a whole freaking forest of trees yesterday…[don't get yourself going, Kirsten...breathe...]) by the 15th, but not this weekend. ::sigh:: edit for amber: the moving shall ensue on Monday. The very kind selling broker is allowing us to visit and bring boxes over on the weekend because he will be there, but the walk-thru isn’t until Monday (I think?) and they are painting on Tuesday…so when are you coming over to play with my make up?? :O)

On the HAPPY front: I got a box full of MAKEUP today! I LOVE MAKEUP! Not in the whole slutty over-made up skank kind of way (really??)…I just really love the things you can do to make a person look completely different, or just a little bit more polished and less flawed, depending on what you’re going for. :O) Ask Jen…she knows all about my makeup addiction…and understands. (Makeup was my first stuff-love…before I got into knitting!) Anyway, I’m an Arbonne Consultant and have been getting to know my product, little by little, and the Summer Color Line is 50% off right now (if you want to look, click here) so I bought the whole flipping thing! One of the lipsticks is rather too orange for my face, but the rest of it is completely giddiness-inducing!! Did I mention that I LOVE MAKEUP!!?

Oh…I totally missed THE HARLOT last night at Powell’s on Hawthorne. Was going to go but just utterly flaked that it was last night. I mean, it wasn’t until September and I guess I just lost the fact that it is September…ever feel that way? I sat home and did nothing last night…in fact, I don’t remember what I did at all last night. What a shame. Guess it was a rowdy bunch…those crazy Portland knitters!!

One last thing…THANK YOU to anyone who tried to comment for me. Let me tell you, WordPress has unbelievably suberb tech support. I emailed them and less than 15 minutes later I had someone on it. THANK YOU MIKE! Even if it was only an HTML error that I know better than to make…
